The Tammy Walker Cancer Center sets the standard of excellence when it comes to treating cancer. Our comprehensive cancer program holds the prestigious cancer program approval by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the American College of Radiation Oncology. In addition, the Tammy Walker Cancer Center is affiliated with the renowned Midwest Cancer Alliance , increasing access to the latest cancer treatment discoveries through a wide variety of clinical research studies.

In 2009 Salina Regional Health Center opened its doors to a new ER. The new ER is spacious, modern and fully equipped to handle whatever comes its way.

We service 10 surgical specialties in four (4) operating rooms, two (2) endoscopy treatment rooms, one (1) treatment/triage room and sixteen (16) inpatient beds. Parking is provided for convenient patient use.

Anesthesia services are provided by Anesthesia Associates of Central Kansas PA. The anesthesia staff is highly qualified in all aspects of outpatient and inpatient surgery. Prior to surgery, a member of the anesthesia team will consult with you and your doctor to decide what kind of anesthesia is safest for you.
General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal area and organs including the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, and gall bladder as well as the breast, and thyroid. Our general surgeons are highly trained specialists with the knowledge of a broad spectrum of diseases that may require surgical treatment.
